Wellbeing Champions

 
 

Role Statement

Wellbeing Champions will work together to make sure that the wellbeing of children at Maine Integrated Primary School is prioritised. Wellbeing Champions will also work hard to make sure all staff and children are fully aware of the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing initiative.

Who is eligible for the role?

Pupils who are in Years 4 – 7 who are committed to wellbeing, display a positive attitude and are interested in learning more about mental health. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of a whole-school Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing Pledge
  • Promote the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing initiative
  • Suggest ideas on how to improve the mental health of their fellow pupils
  • Participate in Take 5 assemblies
  • Maintain the school Take 5 noticeboard
  • Any other duties as requested by Mr Strickland
