Uniqueness in P6
Today we marked a truly special milestone as we welcomed Mr O’Kane for his final visit to our P6 class. Over the past weeks, he has brought the beauty of the Irish language to life for our pupils, making meaningful connections with our WAU theme of Hunger and our core text, Under the Hawthorn Tree.
Through his passion, storytelling, and enthusiasm, the children have gained a deeper appreciation not only of the language but also of Ireland’s history and culture.
A huge thank you to St Benedict’s College for lending us the wonderful Mr O’Kane – he has truly been an inspiration to our class. His dedication and warmth have left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Go raibh maith agat, a Mhúinteoir O’Kane!
