P3 enjoyed taking part in a workshop today all about how to reduce waste and the different types of wastes. We had Aodhan visit us from Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful. He taught us what rubbish goes in what bin. We even got to sort some of the bins in school into the different types of categories: Recyclable, compostable food and non-recyclable. It was a lot of fun and we learnt lots for example how long it takes some plastic items to break down!
