Primary 2 enjoyed a hands-on Maths and WAU activity this week related to our core text 'A Day on Our Blue Planet', creating Carroll diagrams on their desks to sort animals by different properties: can fly/cannot fly and has two legs/more than two legs.
The task sparked lots of discussion and reasoning, with children working together and showing great teamwork. It was a little messy but lots of fun, and everyone was fully engaged in their learning.
