Girls' hockey team attended the regional qualifier for the NI primary championships
On Thursday 16th March the girls' hockey team attended the regional qualifier for the NI primary championships at Ballymena Academy. The girls did extremely well finishing top of a very competitive group to secure a place in the semi finals. In the semi finals the girls gave it their all to ensure a win against Broughshane Primary School with the final score standing at 2-0. In the final the girls played a very competitive game against Antrim Primary School, with Maine opening the scoring and Antrim equalising shortly after. In the end, the game went to penalties with Maine just missing out on first place and Antrim winning on penalties.
The girls played incredibly well and did the school proud ! We look forward to the next round in Lisnagarvey.
