Today in numeracy we combined number work with art and got creative!
We designed our dream home thinking about what rooms we would like it to have. We then created a birds eye view plan of the house. After we had designed our plans we then calculated the area of each room, remembering to use the correct unit of measure. When calculating the areas we now can use our multiplication facts to help.
