🐧 Help Us Build an Igloo for Blue Penguin! ❄️

Dear Parents and Carers,

Primary one are diving into their coolest new adventure yet with their new core text Blue Penguin — and we need your help to make it truly ice-tacular! 🧊🐧

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be turning our classroom into a frosty Arctic wonderland, complete with our very own igloo. But before our penguins can waddle in, we need a few materials to help us build it.

Could you please send in any of the following items?

• Egg cartons (perfect for penguin-proof walls!) WE NEED LOTS AND LOTS OF THESE!

• Small cardboard boxes (think cereal boxes, tissue boxes, etc.)

• White paper or tissue paper (for that snowy sparkle)

• Clean plastic bottles or milk cartons (because even penguins recycle!)

• Toilet roll cylinder (To make some penguins)

Please make sure everything is clean and dry — our penguins prefer a fresh, frost-free home.

I will leave a box at the top and bottom gate for you to put your items into at collection times.

With your help, we’ll soon have an igloo that even Blue Penguin would be proud to call home. Thank you so much for your continued support (and for saving all those egg cartons instead of throwing them out!).
