Role Statement

Digital Leaders are pupil monitors for the technology that is used in school. They are pupils who are interested and enthusiastic about all aspects ICT.

Who is eligible for the role?

Pupils who are in Years 4 – 7, with a true passion for ICT are eligible for the role of Digital Leader. 

Responsibilities:

• Help staff get computing equipment ready and organised (charging laptops and iPads)
• Test and review new apps, websites and programs which could be used in lessons
• Demonstrate how to use technology in the classroom
• Assist visitors with any technology issues that may arise
• Demonstrate how to use AR in the classroom
• Demonstrate how to use everyday programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) and easy-to-use websites to other students and staff
• Assist with the organisation of Safer Internet Day
• Any other duties as requested by Mr Strickland
